Accommodation at LUX* Belle Mare comprises of 174 suites, with options ranging from family-friendly suites to wellness-focused ones perfectly suited to couples. All are designed to feel like beach bungalows in shades of white sand with hints of coral and citrus colours. Guests will love the finer details of the luxury decor in every suite, from tables cast in local reclaimed sand to the spacious terraces boasting stunning views of the nearby beach.
Guests will be spoiled for choice when it comes to dining options at LUX* Belle Mare. Options include Mediterranean dishes with a relaxed beach club atmosphere, Indian cuisine with a modern twist, Chinese tasting menus and Southeast Asian cuisine is served from a Vintage 1933 Rolls Royce. There are also 3 stylish bars, many of which transform from casual chic cafes during the day to cool and contemporary bars in the evening. Unique to LUX* is ICI ice cream parlour, offering an exciting range of sorbets and ice creams.
LUX* Belle Mare has a focus on wellness and physical wellbeing. Guests can enjoy personalised, holistic treatments and programmes based around the four elements, earth, water, fire and air. The resort also has a choice of activities to keep you entertained, from water sports such as snorkelling and sailing to football tournaments and exercise packages. LUX* Belle Mare is set on one of the most stunning stretches of beach in Mauritius. I loved being able to walk straight from the hotel grounds onto Belle Mare Beach, where you can stroll along the 2 kilometres of pristine white sand.

Children: Children are welcome at LUX* Belle Mare. The PLAY Club is available for children aged 3 – 11 and is open from 10am to 10pm, offering a weekly programme with fun and educational activities, and a jungle gym. Studio 17 is for children aged 12 – 17 and has modern game consoles and sports such as volleyball and football. Babysitting services are available, charged locally.
Location: LUX* Belle Mare is located on the East Coast of Mauritius, approximately an hour’s drive from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.
Facilities: Guests at LUX* Belle Mare can enjoy complimentary water sports, including windsurfing, peddle boating, kayaking, snorkelling, water skiing and Hobie cat sailing. Scuba diving excursions, big-game fishing, and catamaran sailing are available, charged locally. Guests have access to tennis courts, a fully equipped fitness centre, yoga sessions and bicycles. The LUX* ME Spa offers a wide range of treatments and massages, as well as a steam room, sauna, and ice plunge pool.
Dining: LUX* Belle Mare offers 5 creative and diverse restaurants, 3 bars and an ice cream parlour. The main restaurant, Mondo, offers international gourmet dishes, while Amari By Vineet serves Indian Cuisine, Royce Street serves Southeast Asian cuisine, and Duck Laundry serves Chinese cuisine. Beach Rogue is all about Mediterranean dishes where you can choose your food from a market-style counter.
