Sun Siyam Iru Veli is a five star resort ideally suited to couples looking for an exclusive yet laid back, all inclusive break. The island is in a prime location for dolphin sightings and is reached by a 40 minutes scenic seaplane flight from Male.
Accommodation at Sun Siyam Iru Veli is comprised of 125 suites, each with a private pool. Whether your preference is for a beach suite where you can simply step from your room onto the white sand, or for an ocean suite, perched over the island's private lagoon, Sun Siyam Iru Veli offers a stunning range of spacious and contemporary accommodation options. A particular highlight are the Dolphin Ocean Suites, which are located with views over a well known dolphin passage, so if you are lucky you will be able to watch dolphins swimming past whilst relaxing in your private infinity pool.
Stays at Sun Siyam Iru Veli are on an all inclusive basis, and with three restaurants and three bars, guests are spoiled for choice. The main restaurant, Aqua Orange, offers buffet breakfast, lunches and dinners in a casual setting. Grouper Grill boasts a beachfront setting, and specialises in grilled meats and seafood, whilst the resort's speciality restaurant, Roma, is perched above the ocean and offers an elegant and intimate spot for dinner.
Facilities at Sun Siyam Iru Veli include a range of watersports, and with its own house reef accessible straight from the beach or lagoon, keen snorkellers and divers are also well catered for. I would recommend Sun Siyam Iru Veli to couples looking for a contemporary resort in stunning setting. The all-inclusive package includes a choice of 3 restaurants and I love that all suites have a private pool as this is on so many of our clients' wish list.

Children: Children are welcome. There is a Kids Club for children aged between 3 and 11.99 and babysitting services are available. Guests recieve 2 hours of complimentary babysitting per stay.
Water suites are not recommended for children. The resort may accept bookings for children in water suites with parent's full consent and responsibility.
Transfers: 40 minutes by seaplane. Guests receive complimentary daytime access to a luxury seaplane lounge at Male airport on arrival into the Maldives - here they will find complimentary bottled water, soft drinks, snacks and Wi-Fi.
Facilities: Adults only swimming pool, main pool suitable for families, a fully equipped fitness centre, tennis court, full range of activities and excursions, boutique.
Diving: The SSI exclusive dive centre offers diving opportunities for both beginners and experienced divers.
Watersports Centre: The lagoon is perfect for watersports and the centre is located across a walkway from the main resort. Watersports on offer include use of kayays, stand up paddle boards and paddle boats, wind surfing lessons and jet skiis. Guests also receive a complementary guided snorkelling tour as part of their stay.
Ocean Spa: Ocean Spa uses restorative, natural ingredients and offers a range of treatments including authentic Asian massages and Ayurvedic treatments. Facilities include couples treatment pavilions and hydrotherapy facilities.

Resort Services: 24 hour in-villa dining, island boutique, laundry/valet service, foreign currency exchange, multi-lingual staff, island Doctor on call and health clinic.
Meal Arrangements: Stays at Sun Siyam Iru Veli are on an all-inclusive basis comprising of a sparkling wine breakfast and extensive buffet and dine around lunch and dinner, plus afternoon tea. A range of unlimited drinks are offered throughout the day and night, including a choice of wine by the glass, beer, a selection of spirits, soft drinks and cocktails. Also included in the all inclusive package are selected excursions and a spa credit per person.
Restaurants and Bars: Aqua Orange is the resort's main restaurant, serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. As an alternative for dinner, Gouper Grill serves fish, steaks and seafood fresh from the grill whilst Roma offers Mediterranean classics. In terms of bars, Chemistry serves morning coffees, cocktails and nightcaps and Fresh Water offers classic lunchtime snacks and Maldivian favourites as well as signature cocktails to be enjoyed by the pool. For a unique experience, join the resident sommelier at Wine Cellar for a tour of some of the world's finest wines and champagnes.
Check In/Out: Check in at 2pm and check out at 12 noon. Where possible early morning arrivals may be able to check in prior to 2pm.
