Lily Beach Resort & Spa in the Maldives is an all-inclusive property providing high quality and luxurious living which takes a traditional Maldivian holiday to a whole new level. The island resort is popular with both families and couples, with numerous activities available throughout the day and in the evening as well as plenty of peaceful spots for those in search of relaxation.
The island's shape and layout ensure that it never feels crowded. Vibes Bar is located at one end of the island beside a family-friendly pool area, a popular spot during the daytime which becomes the island's main entertainment area by night with live bands playing until the early hours of the morning. By contrast, AQVA Bar is found at the opposite end of the island and is a more chilled-out setting overlooking the adults-only infinity pool where guests can relax and sip on cocktails.
The stylish resort has earned a worldwide reputation for excellence, thanks to its pristine beaches, lush vegetation and wonderful diving and snorkelling sites. The outstanding holiday experience will start as soon as you board your seaplane in Male and enjoy a 25-minute flight to the resort, during which you have fantastic views of the spectacular Maldives islands and their unique reef formations.
Only natural materials are used at Lily Beach Resort & Spa to construct the villas and public areas, combining contemporary design with local Maldivian architecture. The Sunset Water Suites are individually designed and not only offer uncompromising views of the ocean but also have direct lagoon access. The Deluxe Water Villas are romantic and very private - the complete overwater living experience! Lagoon Villas are positioned half over the water with direct lagoon access from private decks, while the Beach Villas nestle along the shore and are elegantly designed with terrazzo tiling and vibrant colour schemes. The Beach Family Villa is made up of two interconnecting Beach Villas.
Lily Beach Resort & Spa is renowned for its all-inclusive Platinum Plan which includes superb dining options. Lily Maa is the resort's main restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner, an open-sided venue with sand floors and views of the lagoon - guests are spoilt for choice with some of the finest cuisine in the Maldives including expansive buffets and live cooking stations for relaxed dining. Lunch can also be enjoyed at AQVA Pool Bar and Vibes Bar, both offering a la carte menu options, while guests can visit Tamarind once per week for lunch or dinner, a fine dining restaurant serving Indian and Chinese cuisine. By night, AQVA Bar plays host to a live teppanyaki station and Les Turquoise D'Aqua offers a five-course tasting menu, neither part of the all-inclusive package. Premium brands of spirits, beer and liqueur and unlimited cocktails are also included on the Platinum Plan as are wines, fruit juices, soft drinks, mineral water and even Taittinger Champagne.
Another feature of the Platinum Plan is the inclusion of two complimentary excursions per person with a choice of coral garden snorkelling, a fishing trip, sunset cruise, a trip to the local fishing village of Dangethi, a trip to the local island of Mahibadhoo, or a visit an uninhabited island with snack and beverages. The island has numerous leisure facilities that guests can make use by day including a modern gymnasium, a floodlit tennis court and pool tables. A watersports centre offers complimentary non-motorised activities such as snorkelling, canoeing, windsurfing, surf bikes and catamaran sailing as well as wakeboarding and banana boat rides, while 'Ocean Pro' Dive Centre caters for everyone from beginners to experienced divers. The island's house reef is exceptional with more than 40 dive sites and shipwrecks within easy reach - the dive centre's professional team offer theory and practical lessons as well as Bubblemaker courses for children aged 8-11 years old. All courses are conducted to PADI standards.
Those who wish to discover the reef without getting wet can do so thanks to ‘Penguin’, a submarine-type boat whose extra deep hull has glass windows which offer spectacular underwater views. Plenty of other excursions are also available, from island hopping and big game fishing to snorkelling safaris and turtle tours.
The Tamara Spa is a relaxing venue where overwater spa pavilions are designed to refresh and rejuvenate you by pampering body and mind.

The house reef is superb and I was delighted to be able to snorkel from the shore and spot plenty of colourful marine life. A highlight of my stay at Lily Beach Resort & Spa was the Ocean Adventure Excursion, a boat trip where I was able to swim with manta rays and whale sharks - highly recommended!

Children: Children are welcome. Turtles Kids club is available for 4-12 year olds. Children under 5 years sharing the adults' room will stay free of charge.
Airport Transfer: Lily Beach is 25 minutes by seaplane from Male Airport, where they have access to an exclusive seaplane lounge.
Facilities: Tamara Spa, 2 freshwater swimming pools, 1 children's pool, fitness centre, water sports and dive centre (see below), floodlit tennis court (coaching available), table tennis, billiards, pool, beach volleyball and excursions such as island hopping, big game fishing, sunrise fishing, snorkelling safari.
Watersport Centre: Complimentary non-motorised water sports including windsurfing, catamaran sailing and kayaking, as well as chargeable motorised water sports such as fun tube riding, banana boat rides and water skiing.
Diving: The Ocean Pro Dive School offers courses for children and adults, catering for everyone from beginners to experienced divers. Divers have access to over 40 dive sites in the area.

Credit Cards: Lily Beach accepts most major credit cards.
Meal Arrangements: Lily Beach offers an all-inclusive Platinum Plan which comprises of a fantastic array of quality services including premium wines and spirits, exquisite dining, hand crafted excursions, sporting activities and much, much more! Guests can choose from 80 premium wines and selected French Champagne in bars and restaurants, take advantage of an in-room minibar which is replenished daily and a beachside cool box filled with non-alcoholic beverages.
Bars & Restaurants: 'Lily Maa' Restaurant offers a combination of a la carte and buffet dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner with live cooking stations, grill, BBQ and desserts display. The speciality restaurant 'Tamarind' serves a fusion of Indian and Chinese cuisine at private over-water tables - one visit per person per week is included in the all-inclusive plan. Dining at the Japanese 'Teppanyaki ' restaurant, 'Le Turquoise d'Aqua' fine dining tasting menu and the seafood platter are not included in the all-inclusive plan. 'AQVA Bar' and 'Vibes Bar' are both poolside venues serving a la carte lunches, the latter being the venue for live entertainment in the evening. 'The Spirit Bar' is a sand-floored setting with a deck overlooking the lagoon, where guests can enjoy sheesha.
Check In/Out: Guests are asked to check at 3pm and to check out at 12 noon.
