Dhawa Ihuru is a tropical paradise in the Maldives, situated on one of the most picturesque islands in the Indian Ocean. Blessed with palm-fringed beaches, crystal clear waters and one of the best house reefs in the Maldives, the island is located just 20 minutes by speedboat from Male airport in North Male Atoll.
Accommodation is in 45 beachfront villas which border the coral island, each with private gardens, beach access and breathtaking ocean views. Each of the bright and colourful villas boast a private verandah facing the sea with a dining table, chairs and outdoor swing, while some villas have either an outdoor jet pool or a rainmist shower in the garden.
The resort is fully all inclusive and offers a choice of two different all inclusive plans. The All Inclusive "Dine" is included in the room rate. There is also the "Style & Max" package for guests looking for an even more inclusive experience.
Meals are served in the casual Riveli restaurant overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean and are a combination of a la carte and sumptuous buffets. For a supplement guests can savour freshly cooked cuisine in the comfort of their villa or enjoy a romantic barbeque with champagne on a sandbank. Follow dinner with cocktails at the Velaavani Bar overlooking the lagoon and house reef, keeping an eye out for turtles and dolphins as you sit back and relax.
Boasting a vibrant and well preserved house reef with the only shipwreck on a house reef in the Maldives, Dhawa Ihuru is the perfect place for snorkelling and scuba diving. The resort has a PADI 5 star dive centre offering guided dives and courses for all ages, while other water sports include windsurfing, catamaran sailing and kayaking. Possible excursions include trips to Male, picnics on deserted islands and dolphin cruises. Guests can take advantage of the complimentary ferry service to the nearby Banyan Tree Vabbinfaru resort where there are varied faciliites including a marine laboratory as well as two restaurants (any dining is chargeable locally).
Lovers of relaxation will be in bliss on the stunning powdery white sand beaches, or for an indulgent experience guests can visit the 8lements Spa where a range of treatments are offered that make use of natural Maldivian ingredients.

Dining: Riveli restaurant offers buffet or a la carte dining in a casual setting overlooking the ocean. At Velavaani bar sip on a cocktail while you enjoy occasional views of turtles and dolphins in the lagoon and house reef. In-Villa Dining – guests are invited to choose from the set menu or the fresh barbecue. Sandbank Dining - leave the rest of the world behind as you enjoy Maldivian specialties on your very own sandbank. Other dining arrangements can be made including beach picnics and sunset cruise dinners.
Spa: Renew your senses at the 8lements Spa which provides a range of treatments using native Maldivian ingredients. Treatments take place at one of the outdoor spa pavilions or indoor treatment rooms. Couples treatments are available at one of the outdoor deluxe pavilions, which are equipped with a jet pool and steam bath.
Watersports: Scuba diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, catamaran sailing and canoeing are available. A fully certified PADI 5 Star Gold Palm Dive Centre conducts guided dives and courses from beginner to divemaster level.
Excursions: Go island hopping, night fishing or visit Male – please ask in the resort for further details.

The 45 beachfront villas, dotting the circumference of the coral island, offer fantastic views of the ocean. All villas are furnished with Maldivian thatched roofs and private gardens. The 25 Beachfront Jet Pool Villas also have open-air jet pools. All the villas are equipped with an outdoor shower, outdoor swing, a king sized bed, indoor dining set, outdoor dining set, air conditioning, ceiling fan, 32" flat screen TV, CD player, IDD telephone, a private safe, hairdryer, bathrobes as well as a mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities, and wireless internet access. All accommodation sleeps a maximum of 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
