From the moment you arrive at The Oberoi Beach Resort Mauritius you are struck by the peace and quiet - you can't help but feel relaxed here. Levels of service are generally very high in Mauritius, but the staff here are exceptional. Everyone I met was so warm and friendly, and the service in The Restaurant was particularly attentive. The food was also incredible and I was really impressed by the menu selection and varied dining options included in the half board package.
Children: Children are welcome at The Oberoi Beach Resort. The Hub kids club offers a heated swimming pool and a range of games and activities for children between 4 and 12 years, under supervision of Oberoi Kids' Club team.
Location: The Oberoi Beach Resort is located on the North-West coast of Mauritius, a 60-minute drive from Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.
Facilities: Facilities at The Oberoi Beach Resort include two swimming pools including one adult-only, watersports, fitness centre, floodlit tennis courts, bicycles, library, boutique, plus complementary Wi-Fi in all rooms and public areas. The award winning Oberoi Spa offers a selection of holistic healing, relaxation, rejuvenation and wellbeing treatments between 9am - 8pm daily.
Dining: The Oberoi Beach Resort has five restaurants and bars. On the Rocks offers beach side dining for lunch and dinner daily. The Restaurant offers Creole, Indian and international cuisines for breakfast and dinner daily. The Gunpowder Room is the resorts fine dining restaurant serving traditional Creole cuisine between 7 - 10.30pm only. The Bar is open from 10am - midnight and offers sweeping ocean views. The Herb Trail is a unique dining experience in an al fresco setting with an underground fire pit on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
